Isolation

While in isolation for the Coronovirus pandemic 2020 it has given me the opportunity to get my cameras out and start learning how to take a photo (the technicalities). I had signed up for numerous courses that I found online at the Centre of Excellence.

One of the courses I decided to do was the Photography Diploma because I actually don’t know much about working all the features of a camera or lens. I am self taught and I feel I could improve my work so much if I took the time to learn.

I have started with Macro photography, something I have always been interested in, so my lens currently attached to the body of the camera is a macro lens so I have been experimenting with some other genres of photography while it is on.

While I was walking around I noticed that Dolly seems to be disregarded in random places which gave me a sense off how isolation may feel for other people and by using the Dolly it was a metaphor for the darkness that can be within.

The frog seems shocked which is how I feel many people are feeling currently with the amount of change and sadly people effected with this terrible virus.

I will continue to work on this project and post more images.
